From
what I have seen in the many News publications that I subscribe
to, as well as from some of the Media reports, there seems to be
a revival sort of, of the "old time religion," that is the
religious teaching of a heaven, a hell, and a god out there
somewhere. As with so many aspects of life, the human race seems
to take two steps forward and four steps backward when it comes
to religion and spirituality. Any time there is any danger that
the masses of people may lose their lives; i.e. during 9/11 in
the United States, and the pandemic of 2020 of which we are
still moving through, people who say they are convinced of a
heaven, fear for their lives and turn to the "old time
religions" that give them the false notion that Jesus or this
god out there, will save them. Worldwide deaths from COVID at
this writing is 3.6 million people, 585,000 in the United
States. If there was a god, or a son of a god, that would save
us, surely these deaths would not have occurred. But, no
rational person would put the blame on G-d or Allah for these
deaths, or even the Law of Attraction. Physical death is the
reality of third-dimension life in which we all live. No amount
of faith, prayer, obedience to a god, or righteous living can
change this reality.
Walter Starcke
explains the third-dimension in simple to understand words:
"I see that the secret of untangling the confusion of life lies
in understanding what the mystics call the third and fourth
dimensions of life. They say that everything one can recognize
at the phenomenal level, the everyday down-to-earth level of
life, is the third dimension. Anything that can be named,
labeled, or thought about is third-dimensional. The fourth
dimension is the spiritual dimension, the total, the infinite.
At the fourth dimension everything is comprehended in its pure
being-ness, in its oneness and unity. The catch is that thinking
is limited to the third dimension.
The fourth-dimension, like Intelligence, is something that
can be experienced but not thought about, for thought always has
limits. The two levels are present simultaneously but not really
understandable in terms of each other. Since they are two
different senses, one can't understand the fourth dimension in
terms of thought any more than a blind man can comprehend
color."
The problem for so many
of us is that we try to find the fourth-dimensional aspects of
Life; the pure spirit, the highest good, in the third-dimension.
This is why people will say, "look for the good in it." But
rather than look for the good in miserable things, we would be
better served if we rejected that which is not good, and strive
to realize a greater good, at the individual level. After all,
what good can be found in the deaths of 3.6 million people?
The ultimate
realization is that our life, our individual life, our soul, is
eternal. Physical death does not terminate the life of our soul.
Where we go from here is determined by cause and effect, whether
from this life to the next, or to the next day of our life. This
is the universal, eternal, unchangeable, immutable Law of Life
in every dimension in which we experience life.
Keep the Faith!
