Contrary
to popular belief, Jesus didn’t really give us two commandments.
He gave us one – love.
His two commandments were really one divine law expressed in two ways, as
love of God and love of neighbor, love of cause and love of effect, love of
our divinity and love of our humanity. - Walter
Starcke
Isaiah 43:10 "You are my
witnesses," says the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no
god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. 11 I, I am the
LORD, and besides me there is no savior.
"LOVE
WITHOUT END,
JESUS SPEAKS"
"When you
change your heart, you change your life." |
"There
are no structures that cannot be superseded and rearranged by love."
"Behold
infinity every day, and all that you seek shall be given to you."
"Any prayer asked in love,
or honoring love will be answered, although your Father has no covenant to
answer the prayers of your ego, to solve its self-made problems, or to
make its fictions result in happiness. Your Creator is one with reality,
so how can He answer a prayer that seeks further separation from the love
and the reality that He is?"

THE MASTER MIND
|
No one in the history of the world has made the impact that Jesus
has made on the world. Jesus took the wisdom of the ancients
and became the Great Teacher by teaching masterful principles using
simple, easy to understand parables. His teachings were so
simple that most people did not "get it" ... and many
ignore His most profound wisdom. He taught by "living His
teaching" and by "demonstrating" the Truth that He
stated could "set us free." Why then, do people all
over the world look to Him to "save them" when He taught
that "you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you
free" ... because they don't get it ... and many of the ones
who "get it the least" call themselves Christians.
The religious leaders in His day called Him vile and blasphemous ...
and would it be any different today?
From Emmet Fox: "We
are told concerning the teaching of Jesus that the common people
heard him gladly. He was unconventional, hopelessly out of
favor with the ecclesiastical authorities, a flouter of hallowed
traditions; and yet, deep calls unto deep, and so He had His friends
and followers in high places also."
To give "lip
service" to the Greatest Teacher the world has ever known is
ignorance of Truth. "Have you not eyes to see and ears to
hear?" ... the Master Mind Jesus exclaimed. Most of us
have spent most of our lives lulled into a fantasy of false beliefs
that there is a God or Jesus .. out there ... up in the clouds ...
who will save our sorry souls from the misery we have self-imposed
in our lives. Most of us have been clueless about the
teachings of this Master Mind because we have been content to
"listen" to those who "talk about Him" rather
than do the work He commanded us to do... "you will know the
Truth and the Truth will set you free." We have relied
foolishly on those who only "parrot" the pastoral
ramblings of those who went before them ... speaking from pulpits
with little or no idea as to what the outcome of their teachings
will produce.
Jesus taught us to understand
Life ... to Love God ... above ALL else ... to look to God for
EVERYTHING ... but we continue to persist in looking to other
people, to presidents, to ministers, to popes, rabbi's ... for that
which we must find ourselves. This persistent ignorance of the
Truth has created for many of us illness, poverty, loneliness,
depression and dis-satisfaction!
The Master Teacher taught us that
"the kingdom of heaven is within you." But many
still look to a heaven beyond this Life ... a heaven that most
people can't even imagine what it would be like ... a fairy tale
heaven of angels and harp players doesn't seem much like heaven to
me ... but that is pretty much the picture of heaven that our
culture has been taught to imagine ... the Master Mind Jesus stated
that "in my Father's house there are many mansions," and
many mystics have taught that there are many other worlds that we do
not see ... because it is not our time to "enter into
them." For me, Jesus' words denote states of
consciousness and the state of our consciousness will determine the path that we cross over to.

We do not take our physical
bodies with us ... so we know that our Life is spirit ... or
consciousness. A consciousness that leaves this world filled
with fear, resentment, prejudice and judgment ... will no doubt find
its perfect place in the Great Be-Yond ... as will a consciousness of
Love and Forgiveness. There is little proof of what the next
world holds for us even though many have had "near-death"
experiences and have told us what they have experienced ... but,
they only went so far. There are psychics and angel
guides who will tell us we are surrounding by loved ones or angels
who have crossed-over ... but the majority of us do not have this
experience ... or perhaps are just not attuned to the belief
concepts that demonstrate this in our lives. There is no doubt
that our Life goes on ... every Great Mystic has taught this and
Jesus demonstrated it to the greatest degree ever. But .. the
only experience that will ever mean anything to us ... will be our
own personal experience ... and this we will all have in the right
and perfect time.
Jesus called us to take a greater role in our
relationship with God ... Love God, He stated, and Love your self
too ... we cannot Love God ... if we don't Love ourselves ... to
Love God but to hate our self, our neighbor or our world of affairs
... is mental and emotional disorder. We are to go into the
closet (within ourselves), the Master Mind taught us, and there we
will find God ... so this Indwelling Presence of God ... Is the very
Life of us ... and if we find fault with ourselves ... indulge in
self-pity or lack confidence and self-assurance ... then we are
denying the very God ... that we profess to Love.
If we love God ... then we must
love ourselves and everyone and everything that we see ... if we
profess to love Jesus ... then we damn well should begin to follow
His teachings ... all of them ... not just the ones that make us
feel self-righteous and superior. "Judge not lest ye be
judged" ... "give and be given to" ... "Love one
another."
"The
reason the ego and love are not compatible comes down to this:
you cannot take your ego into the unknown, where love wants to lead.
If you follow love, your life will become uncertain, and the ego
craves certainty." - Deepak Chopra, Author
