As
we transcend the image of the physical, we will realize that we
are, in Truth, Spirit and Life Expressed ... that our human
identity is but the veil that covers the Divine Self that G-d
imaged into Its own likeness ... Spirit. To paraphrase a
statement from the Bhagavad-Gita written
in the 5th century B.C. ... "He whose self is established in
Oneness, sees the self in all beings, and all beings in the
self." This is the same statement just written
differently. It is calling us to a greater understanding of
Life Itself ... it is to know that we are One with All of Life
... that we are connected to each other in the same way that the
continents are connected at the bottom of the oceans ... One
Life Expressing Itself in individualized forms ... but always
connected.
This is why Jesus stated that whatever you do to anyone,
you are doing it to yourself ... because at the level of Spirit
we are connected to each other. Dr. Joseph Murphy stated that
to bless someone is really a very selfish thing ... because in
Truth, you are really blessing yourself. Imagine how different
our lives might be if we blessed everyone ... refrained from
harsh judgments, resentments and jealousies and instead blessed
everybody and everything. Yes, Dr. Murphy is correct, at some
level it would be a selfish act ... but the benefits would be
tremendously gratifying!
There are people who live their lives reacting to people
based on "conditions" ... and if certain people do not meet
their "conditions" ... then they shut them out of their lives
... and often, don't even show them the commonest of courtesies
such as gratitude and respect. And for many of these people ...
this has become a life-long habit ... and they never realize
that all that they do ... or in most cases, don't do ... they
are doing to themselves. And many of these people consider
themselves to be religious or spiritual ... and they may even
"talk about" unconditional love like they actually knew what it
was. But ... unconditional love can only be a part of someone
who understands and practices what Jesus taught as recorded in
the Book of John and what Vyasa wrote in the Bhagavad-Gita
before Him.
Everything and everyone in our experience is coming to us
from G-d ... and we are One with them. This is why every
religion states, "Our Father." One Father, One Life ... ONE.
We attract every person ... every experience ... from our
consciousness ... "Our Father Within" ... "the Father and I are
One" ... this Infinite "I" is G-d in All of us. "Our Father
Within" ... will bring into our experience people who will fill
the empty gaps caused by our human experiences ... so that we
can experience our "Divine self" to a greater and more
satisfying degree. Whatever is in our consciousness that we are
afraid of or whatever is in our consciousness that makes us
uncomfortable ... we must eliminate it ... and often we do not
... because it is much easier to ignore or isolate ourselves
from the people who are the very ones that are so necessary for
us to realize the Greater Potential that lies within us. The
people who make us comfortable and at ease very seldom create
opportunities for us to grow spiritually ... if anything, they
will cause us to ease into a life of passivity or worse still,
depressions.
There is That within
us that is constantly seeking Wholeness ... and this Wholeness
can only be attained by shedding the limitations, fears and
seeming separation from each other ... we cannot experience our
Divine self as long as we cling to concepts of separation from
each other ... as we separate ourselves from each other ... we
separate ourselves from G-d ... as Jesus stated, "If G-d were
your Father, ye would love me ... for He sent me."
Keep the Faith!
