Let's think about these words from Ernest Holmes: "Naturally our
first thought is that we would like to manifest health of the
body, peace of mind, prosperity in our affairs or business,
neutralize a circumstance which is causing unhappiness, or
attract something good to ourselves that we have not been
enjoying. Such desire is natural and normal in every way, and
the possibility of such manifestation already exists within the
mind of every living soul. Each one of us has within our being
the power to consciously cooperate with the spiritual side of
our existence
in such a way that it will create for us a healthy body and a
new environment and greater happiness. But the greatest good
that this philosophy of life gives us is a sense of certainty, a
sense of the reality of our own soul, of continuity
of our own individualized being, and of the relation of this
being (myself) to the great All, the great I AM."
It has been
fascinating to read all the criticisms of Jeff Bezos after his
Space Flight this past week. The line of criticism was mostly
like, "he could be using his money to help those in need, or pay
his workers more." This is typical of worldly thinking that the
wealthy can benefit others by giving them money, or more money.
When in reality, everyone has it in them to create greater
abundance for themselves. Those who think the wealthy are
responsible for the welfare of others, are in truth, saying that
the others lack the ability to help themselves.
This space flight was
Jeff Bezos' dream, he said. Don't we all want to see our dreams
realized? Resenting or criticizing someone else realizing their
dream is a sure way to obstruct our own dreams from becoming our
reality. We can't resent the wealth of others and expect to
demonstrate wealth of our own.
By the grace of that which
created us, we all have self-choice through the activity of our
thoughts, words, and feelings. We can choose a good life, a
joyful life and a wonderful life. This is everyone's truth, but
not everyone is mentally willing to accept it because they have
allowed the "worldly belief" in duality to obstruct the
development of their consciousness. There is no "withholding
god" or a "god's will for us" and there is not god testing or
challenging us with struggle or pain. That is a god of
superstition and of primitive people. When we open our minds to
the Power of "I AM" within us, within our own mind and soul, we
will be open to receive our good; to see our dreams come true,
to realize the desires of our heart. "I AM" is the inherent
Power of choice that automatically draws to us the corresponding
action to what we affirm for ourselves. Even when everyone
around us may see it as silly or impossible. "To whom much is
given, much is required" we can read in the ancient wisdom. That
which is required is an absolute belief that this Power of "I
AM" cannot be obstructed. I AM realizing right now, in this
moment, that whatever it is that you desire, dream about, or
plan, to have, to do, or to be, is yours for the taking, if you
believe in this Power and believe in yourself, absolutely!
Keep the Faith!
