From the Course in Miracles: "Miracles occur naturally as
expressions of love. The true miracle is the love that inspires
them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a
miracle." And in this "everything that comes from love". . .
it's you, and me and each and every good wish that comes from
our hearts.
Dr.
Joseph Murphy's "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" was
written in 1963. During the past fifty some odd years,
people all over the world has read this masterpiece of
metaphysics. Even Christian ministers have adapted some of
the truths revealed in the book and have used them to teach
people about the power of their mind. Dr. Murphy's revelations
were not unique to him, but through his teachings and writings,
everyone could understand the power of their subconscious mind.
It is our
subconscious mind that drives our desires and our choices, and
so much of what is held in our subconscious is not known to us,
until sometimes it is too late to make the corrections necessary
to counter negativity. Our subconscious will always accept
whatever we accept as true, as the truth for us, even when we
"think" it is about someone else.
The greatest
distributor of evil in our world currently is Cable television
programs and Social Media. Both are rife with negativity,
deceitful opinions and downright lies. And the masses of people
let these into their subconscious as true. I was watching the
MSNBC program hosted by Brian Williams when he showed a clip
from the FOX program Tucker Carlson. This show is so popular in
America that even though several advertisers pulled their ads
from the program, FOX continues to broadcast it and pays Carlson
millions of dollars. Carlson called U.S. Army four-star General
Mark Milley "stupid" and a "pig." What infuriated Carlson?
General Milley wanted to understand the "White rage" that caused
people to attack the U.S. Capitol and he wants the Military to
continue classes that teach a greater awareness and
understanding of "racism." Carlson and those program hosts
and politicians who espouse similar views are "the evil that we
live in." Even though we don't share their opinions or listen to
their programs, there are enough people that do who perpetuate
evil in the Collective Consciousness in which we all live.
What can we do? What we
must do is declare within our own mind that the evil ideas and
opinions espoused are not true, never have been, and never will
be. We don't need to try and convince anyone else of this, what
we must do is saturate our subconscious with the rejection of
these ideas and opinions, leaving the person or persons who
espouse them out of our thoughts, for they are the "nothingness"
that we read about in the Ancient Scriptures. Let us vow to
never give them power in our mind.
From the Course in
Miracles: "It's interesting to realize that evil is nothing but
a way of describing someone who is not in their right mind.
No-one in their right mind would ever attack or be harmful or
anything other than loving. Evil really is just a term for
someone who has lost their right mindedness and is now "not in
their right mind," i.e. is insane. This insanity is simply a
state of being confused and mistaken about what is real and
true. It's a state of false belief, false perception, false
values, and made-up fantasies about reality."
