"I
believe that love is at the center of everything; therefore, I
accept Love as the healing power of life. I allow my love to
reach every person I meet. I believe that Love returns to me.
from every person that I know. I trust the guidance of Love
because I believe that it is the power of Good in the universe.
I feel that Love is flowing through me to heal every situation
that I encounter, to help each person with whom I come in
contact. Love opens the way before me and makes it perfect,
straight and content. Love forgives everything that is not like
itself; purifies everything. Love turns everything that seems
common into that which is wonderful. Love turns weakness into
strength, fear into faith. " Although the previous words were
written by the American Mystic Ernest Holmes, they also
represent my thoughts and my beliefs. However, I would like to
expand on one sentence: "I allow my Love to reach every person I
meet." I would like to establish this as true for each person
that I put in my mind; the people who have touched me with their
presence, that is, all those who are present in my thoughts.
This is why absent prayer is so powerful. It is not the number
of prayers that go through our mind that matters. It is about
the substance of the prayers that move the Spirit.
I remember at the beginning of exposing myself to the
metaphysical teachings someone declared: "We don't wait, we
know." Even though this is fine and good but it depends on how
we define "hope" in our mind. For me, waiting is waiting and to
wait we must have faith. I believe that we do not get what we
want, we receive what we "expect." And I believe this is what
ancient wisdom is leading us to know. Faith is the healer of
doubt, worry, fear, and confusion. With faith we can hope. With
faith we have hope. With faith we are filled with the love that
comes to us from the Spirit that is Love personified. This is
because Mary Baker Eddy was able to tell us with certainty that
"Divine Love has always fulfilled and will always fulfill every
human need." And what are our human needs but every desire for
good. It is our good wish that our prayers for everyone,
including ourselves, will be fulfilled, and the good result that
we desire will be found.
When we hear the call to pray for those in the
path of hurricanes, tornadoes, or the results of an earthquake,
do not be intimidated by the power of the situation, but rather
let our faith generate the hopeful expectation that Love
will do its perfect job through our considerate thinking.
It can be amazing how things turn out in our own lives for the
better when we put prayers for others in our minds.

more you lose yourself inside something bigger than yourself,
the more energy (power) you will have."
