The
Spirit of G-d revealed to the ancients in either the 4th or 5th
Century B.C. as written in Psalms 82:6 "I
said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most
High.' The
consciousness of mankind was too primitive and too physical based for
more than a very few to understand the profound meaning of these
words. For clarification we must understand that the word
"sons" is to be read as "a part of" G-d. But
the idea was planted in the mind of mankind nonetheless and so we know
that once Truth is known it will weave its way into expansion. And so we find this Truth revealed again in the words of the Master
Mind Jesus in the Gospel of John 10:34 "Jesus
answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I said, you are
gods'?"
And once again this profound Truth was accepted only by the very
few. And in only a few short years with Jesus gone these words
became something that was "read" but seldom understood and
rarely identified as a goal for someone to attain. But these
words from Psalms and from the Gospel of John were once again put into
the consciousness and so those few seeking enlightenment caught the
essence of it in spirit. And so many of those who did were far
removed from the traditional religions of Christianity and Judaism.
The mysticism of the ancients began to expand through the mind of
mankind and has been adapted in religion, philosophy and even
psychology. But few have found any great desire to fully
understand the words from the ancient author of Psalms 82:6 or the
Master Mind Jesus, yet more and more we are seeing the
"effects" of this profound Truth being presented in a myriad
of ways.
Draw
these words from the author of "High Mysticism" Emma Curtis
Hopkins into your mind: "To
say that 'My Good is supply, God is my Good, therefore God is my
supply' is to stir the mountains and seas to bring us our new
provisions."
These are simple words but formed together in our mind they are
powerful words for they shall find agreement in the depths of our
soul. The word "God" is identified in the collective
consciousness as the Supreme, the Almighty, and the use of this word
puts us in tune with the Power and Intelligence of the Infinite.
Say them to your self and write them down so you don't forget to
repeat them daily and often and in due time you will see the results
following.
Emma Curtis Hopkins
was fond of repeating this true story to those who would listen which
clearly shows the value of spiritual study:
"A
woman who had no faith but had been told what wonder might be wrought
through faith sat down and deliberately determined to learn it.
She sat down in the midst of her poverty and loneliness with her
little children about her and practiced learning. She seemed
shiftless to her neighbors, but it was astonishing what
"luck" that woman always had. Something good was
always "turning up." Her children were all talented,
beautiful, prosperous."
The Intelligence that we
draw our thoughts and our ideas from is always seeking our
"recognition" and our "identification" as
"part of" Its Life and Nature. This is not something
that is airy fairy but a profound Truth. We can easily
demonstrate it as such with little effort. Whatever our mind
gives attention to is drawn to us ... both the negative and the good
... just as the woman in Emma Curtis Hopkins' story demonstrated.
To use the Law of Mind does
not deny G-d, if anything it glorifies G-d. It is aligning our
mind with our true nature and the nature of G-d. This is what
Jesus mastered more than any one before him and after him. But,
he told us that we can do it too if we stop looking to him or to
another man-made deity to do it for us. What one can do all can
do is a Law of G-d; eternal, universal and immutable. This is
why the Master Mind Jesus said we must keep our mind stayed on G-d and
on the Good so that we could reveal more and more of the nature of G-d
within us. The
powerful Unity teacher/minister/author Eric Butterworth stated this so
clearly: "
Fundamentalists believe Jesus was God becoming man. I believe
that Jesus was man becoming God."
And I believe that
Jesus was directing us all to "become gods" to the degree
that we are willing ... "don't ye know that ye are
gods?" "The Kingdom of G-d is within you, not lo here
or lo there." "The Kingdom is at hand." Why
has religion not stressed these teachings more? Why haven't the
masses of people been willing to experience this? No one truly
knows the answers, but this we do know ... becoming G-d is becoming
healthy when we are sick ... becoming G-d is becoming prosperous when we are broke ...
becoming G-d is becoming successful when we are experiencing failure ... and this is
the Truth for every one of us.
AND
SO IT IS!
Keep
the
faith!
