This
week I am going to take the opportunity to present the work of Dr.
Robert H. Bitzer, Founder of the Hollywood Church of Religious Science,
and the first Religious Science Master Teacher that I was blessed to
experience. The following messages are from my personal library:
GOOD WILL .... by Dr. Robert H. Bitzer, 1947
Jesus sought to
bring to a war weary world, torn with confusion, the realization of
Peace. Men of good will would find Peace, He said. This
implies that Peace is an attitude of mind which finds its active
expression in human relationships. Peace is a state of being in
which all thought, feeling and actions are in perfect equilibrium.
All ideas are in their right relationship. Jesus emphasized the
Oneness of man regardless of race, color, nationality or political
beliefs. Christmas recalls the perfection within each individual,
man's Oneness with God, and man's Oneness with each other. This
does not mean that all individuals are alike. Life would be unbearable
if we were standardized in our thinking and feeling. It does
reveal that, in spite of our differences, each of us is that One Perfect
Life which is God in its conscious expression.

The message of Jesus
has greater meaning today than ever before. The simplicity with
which he stated profound principles has never been equaled. The
law of cause and effect is revealed in the simple statement:
"Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to
them." That which goes forth from us determines
that which shall come back. His greatest power was in revealing
that God is Love. Jesus lifted the thought of men above hatred and
bitterness. He had no prejudices. Even our enemies are
disarmed through love. He was conscious of his oneness with God
and sought to make all men realize their oneness with the Father.
Yet he never lost sight of the law of cause and effect. His
message even had a material side because he assured us that, "All
things that the Father hath are mine." He
recognized his oneness with all that God is and has stressed our
oneness with God. Never can we get away from the Presence
of Good which indwells us.

Christmas always
brings us to the starting point of a new cycle in our evolution.
Each time we recognize that the Christ of God is objectified in form we
bring all of our experiences into this divine consciousness. The
redemption of mankind, which Jesus taught, is a personal experience to
each individual. We are redeemed through a change of
consciousness. Jesus turned man away from the concept that
man was mortal. He redeemed man by revealing man's immortality.
The old Mosaic law of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is
transcended through the Christ within. We are not punished for nor
by our sins because the Christ obliterates sin and its consequences of
wrong. This must be personal to each individual. Free from
discord and poverty, man finds his limitless being in love and joy.
THE RADIANT PRESENCE OF CHRIST LOVE

....... behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you
is born this day, in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord. Luke 2:10,11
When
we are fully conscious of what we can do, there is no power in the
universe that can prevent us. The Christ story illustrates this.
When the time for the Christ to appear had come, the Inn seemed
to be closed, and no home to receive him.
But an idea, whose time has come, must find its fulfillment. The
lowly manger became a shrine to glory, which completely transcended
everything around it. The most mundane expression is covered with
light when the emphasis is placed upon the spiritual reality. The
Wise Men had to come from the four corners of the earth in adoration.
The mystics throughout the ages have known that nothing can hold back
that which is their rightful heritage.

As
we Behold the Christ, we behold the Love that Is within each of
us. God Is Love. Love heals, prospers, forgives and
blesses, as we heal, prosper and bless all others. Only Love
Heals, nothing else does.
