RevBates.tv Global - Weekly Message To The Masses for September 5, 2010

"Remember again the metaphysical law that Jesus gave:  "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."  The basis of this law he gave in this marvelous affirmation, I believe the first time it was ever stated:  "The kingdom of God is within you."  This he gave for all humanity, for you and me now.  Through this Kingdom within, each can say also with Jesus:  "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." - Nona L. Brooks, The Prayer That Never Fails

This week I am continuing with the 5-Steps of Prayer-Treatment; 1) Recognition, 2) Unity/Identification, 3) Realization/Declaration, 4) Thanksgiving/Acceptance, 5) Release.  Last week I wrote about "Recognition" and this week's lesson is "Identification/Unity."  These first two steps of Prayer-Treatment are without exception, the most important to understand.  As we know what we have faith in ... and "recognize" this object of our faith ... then, we must "identify" with It.  And the reason for this is that whatever it is that we put our faith in, it can only do for us what it can do "through" us ... no matter what we may call it ... it must find its "likeness" within our mind.

The measure of success that we shall find when we turn to G-d, Infinite Spirit, will be determined by the measure of the Spirit that we consciously embody in our mind ... in other words, how much of the Spirit we "identify and unify" with.  Knowing that the Spirit is infinite in all that It Is, no matter what measure of It we identify with, we shall always find it possible to increase this measure.  The attributes of the Spirit have been identified as peace, love, joy, harmony, happiness, light (wisdom) and beauty.  These attributes of Spirit are demonstrated as Power, Presence and Intelligence and these are what we want to use to demonstrate whatever it is that we want to do, to be, or to have.

     Say to yourself right now:
"I am never content to remain in one place in consciousness long, for I know there are worlds and worlds in consciousness to become aware of.  I choose to savor life as I live it.  I accomplish what I can each day and pave the way for more accomplishment tomorrow.  I experience a great satisfaction in life because I do not put off the living of it today."  These words from Dr. Frank Richelieu (The Art Of Being Yourself), will enliven our minds to draw in more of the Power, Presence and Intelligence of the Spirit into our mind.  As we choose to affirm satisfaction with life as we live it, we will automatically feel more joy, happiness, passion and faith in not only G-d, but in our selves as well.  And in doing so, we "identify" with Life in a greater way, a more dynamic way.

The Master Mind Jesus gave us ample evidence to realize that we are in unity with G-d, Infinite Spirit.  When Jesus declared,
"I, and the Father are One," he was not stating that this was only true of him, but the truth for all of us.  At another time we can read in John 10:34 ... "Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’?" ... and so as we identify with G-d, Infinite Spirit, we are identifying with our "true self" ... that is, "what" we really are ... we are all some part of G-d ... and so we know that our peace, joy, love, power, harmony, intelligence and strength ... are all of G-d and are within us, around us and pressing against us.  Knowing this can make a great deal of difference in our lives, if we persistently and consistently remind ourselves of it.  And this is why it is imperative that we do so in our Prayer-Treatments.

Still, some people remain dead-locked into the idea that we are unworthy of identifying with G-d.  Yet, nothing could be further from the truth.  G-d is Life, we are a part of Life ... we are Perfect in G-d, yet we are human.  But, our being human is merely the form in which the Spirit is experiencing life through us.  If we were all alike or totally devoid of individuality, there would be little purpose in G-d creating more than one of us.  We should embrace our identification as individuals just as much as we embrace our identification with G-d.  When the Master Mind Jesus stated, "when you see me, you see the Father" ... he was saying in effect, when you see me, you see peace, you see love, you see joy, you see beauty and you see intelligence.  And this is true of each of us.

Dr. Ernest Holmes, author of "The Science of Mind," wrote the following "Identification" statement:
"There is One life , that Life is God, that Life is perfect, that Life is my life, now. There is nothing in me or in my experience separate from God. "I am that which Thou art, Thou art that which I am." What I am is God in me as me. I now rid my mind of any and all ideas of isolation and separation from God, and know that as I now turn to Him I permit and Partake of an increased flow and influx of the Divine nature as what I am. I am one with God--all that is. My mind is a focal point, an individualization, of the Mind of God, the One Creative Power. The word I speak, the declaration I make is the word of God going forth through me into new tangible creation. In accord with the Law of Mind my word is its own fulfillment."

AND SO IT IS!

Keep the faith!
