"NEVER
let go of the mental image (of what you want) until it becomes
manifested. Daily bring up the clear picture of what is wanted and
impress it on the mind as an accomplished fact. This impressing on our
minds the thought of what wish to realize will cause our own minds to
impress the same thought on Universal Mind. In this way we shall be
praying without ceasing. We do not have to hold continually the
thought of something we want in order to get it, but the thought that
we may inwardly become the thing we want. Fifteen minutes, twice a
day, is time enough to spend in order to demonstrate anything, but the
rest of the time ought also to be spent constructively. That is, we
must stop all negative thinking and give over all wrong thought,
holding fast to the realization that it is now done unto us. We must
know that we are dealing with the only power there is in the Universe;
that there is none other beside it, and that we are partaking of its
nature and its laws. Always, behind the word that we send forth, must
be the calm confidence in our ability to speak into the power, and the
willingness of Mind (Spirit) to execute for us. We must gradually grow
in confidence and in trust in the unseen world of spiritual activity.
This is not hard, if we remember that the Spirit makes things out of
Itself by simply becoming the thing that it makes, and since there is
no other power to oppose it, it will always work. The Spirit will
never fail us if we never fail to believe in its goodness and its
responsiveness.
Life will become one
grand song, when we realize that since God is for us, none can be
against us. We shall cease merely to exist; we shall live." -
Ernest Holmes, Creative Mind and Success
As
we come to the realization that we must identify personally with
Spirit, we shall find ourselves with a greater confidence in our faith
to recognize that we live in an abundant universe both seen and
unseen. It is the unseen that holds for most of us that greater
thing still that we desire to experience. This is why the Master
Mind Jesus directed us to cultivate faith; faith in our ability to
realize that G-d responds to us by corresponding to that which we have
convinced ourselves is true for us. It is the Intelligence
attribute of the Spirit that so many people fail to consider when they
pray, affirm, visualize or contemplate for themselves the good that
they desire. Intelligence is universal and always seeking to
expand the good in all things and for everyone. Yet,
Intelligence is personal to each of us just as the Power and Spirit of
G-d is personal to each of us. When our prayers are devoid of
intelligence seeking that which is not ours or that which is selfish
or that which diminishes our good, Intelligence has no correspondent
to these things.
Let's
look at this scripture passage in the Light of Intelligence:
John 3:16 " For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Immediately we can see a contradiction to Intelligence.
"Our Father" as Jesus began the "Lord's Prayer"
could not have a "one and only Son" ... and so we see that
someone who copied this into the Holy scriptures made a mistake;
either adding or deleting a word or just didn't get it at all!
What we do know is that in the Aramaic language of Jesus, the word
"son" meant "a part of" ... which is
why Jesus could say, "Do
you not believe that I am in my Father and my Father
in me?" ... and he
meant this not just for him but for everyone ... "me" is
synonymous with the infinite "I" of G-d within
everyone. Why? Because it is Intelligence that makes it
possible and Intelligence is always universal. And so in these
few words we find that we are a part of G-d ... G-d is personal to us
and we are personal to G-d ... and therefore the good that we desire
is personal to us as well. And our part of creation is to
choose ... by choosing we "cause" G-d, through Love
and Law to create through us, for us. But, we must instill
within the deepest recesses of our mind that this is so ... that it is
the Truth for us. We must make it personal to us.
"We
are wrapped in Infinite Love and Intelligence and we should cover
ourselves with it and claim its protection from all evil. Declare that
your word is the presence and the activity of the Power of all that is
and wait for the perfect concept to unfold." In
these words from the mystical Ernest Holmes we realize that this
Power, Intelligence and Spirit that we call G-d, is always responding
to us by corresponding to that which we, through faith, give direction
to. G-d doesn't choose for us ... nor does G-d reward us or
punish us ... G-d "corresponds" ... and we must choose
through our thoughts, the images in our mind, and that which we
believe to be true, those things that "cause" the good to
become a part of our life experience.
The key to all of
this is to reject all things that cause us to believe in the power of
evil ... that is, those things that diminish life for ourselves and
for everyone. It is the evil mind that separates life from G-d
and chooses to destroy or diminish that which causes us to live.
G-d is a part of, not apart from, all living beings and things.
This was the teaching of Jesus and all the true mystics throughout
history. G-d Is personal and we are personal to G-d.
AND
SO IT IS!
Keep
the
faith!
